A2E First Aid Training Ethos

We specialise in high quality training delivered by professional trainers/educators who aim to make things simple for you, relevant and fun.

What makes us different?

We really care about the training you receive. We don’t just want you to pass and get a certificate (of course we want that) but we want you to be good first aiders with the confidence to deal with real situations, be that a cut finger or saving a life.

How do we do this?

We believe you learn by doing, not just sat in a chair watching endless PowerPoint slides or listening to anecdotes. Not only do we give you a simple and memorable system to follow but you get lots of practice so that the system sinks in. We also run lots of short first aid scenarios appropriate to your workplace to give you the opportunity to test your new knowledge and skills in a friendly supportive environment (and where it is ok to make mistakes). We will work you hard, but you will thank us for it!

It goes without saying that our trainers follow the latest Resuscitation Council guidelines and keep their own knowledge and skills up to date…in fact, to standards way above the levels needed to teach first aid. Trainers include members of mountain and cave rescue teams as well as First Responders.

Other benefits from using A2E First Aid Training

We work to a ratio of one manikin and one defibrillator to two learners, thus giving everyone plenty of opportunity to practise CPR. (Most training organisations work to ratios of 1:3 or 1:4)*. On our open courses we have a maximum of 12 learners which leads to a more relaxed atmosphere and more opportunity for the trainer to cater to your specific needs. We can also come to you and will run courses for as few as two or three people. *During this continued coronavirus threat, wherever possible, we will work to a ratio of 1:1 and have smaller sized classes.

Our very competitive prices are inclusive of manuals and certificates. We are not VAT registered so there is no VAT to pay on top.

We are based in Telford but run courses throughout Shropshire, the West Midlands and the Welsh borders, as well as further afield.
